Role Head of Technology

Location Bangalore

Duties and Responsibilities

As the Head of IT, you will be responsible for the evolution and stability of the Organisations IT infrastructure

Should have extensive experience in managing the development and implementation of ICT innovations and strategies

Should be a proven senior leader with the ability to implement and maintain industry best practice to ensure ICT solutions are fit for purpose This role demands strong product instincts, excellent communication skills, technical fluency, customer empathy, and humility

Responsibilities

- Establish the strategic direction of the Companys information systems as well as executing the strategy

- To manage the day to day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met and results delivered

- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs

- Identify the need for upgrades, configurations or new systems/applications to improve business processes and decision making

- Developing and overseeing SMART (specific, measurable, attainable, relevant, time-based) metrics for hardware, software, and storage

- To ensure IT and management are in-line with agreed strategy and the policy is in compliance with government legislation and standards

- Identify security vulnerabilities and eliminate them with strategic solutions that increase data safety

- Prepare and deliver reports, recommendations, or alternatives that address existing and potential trouble areas in systems across the organization

- Inspect the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency

- Provide orientation and training to L1 IT agents for all modified and new systems

- To manage relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring contracts and service levels are negotiated in line with strategic aims and financial constraints and ongoing service is in-line with agreed terms

- Ensuring written documentation is created and maintained, to include user and system manuals, licence agreements and all documentation relating to modifications and upgrades

Skills Required -

- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment

- Strong communication, interpersonal, public speaking, and leadership skills

- Excellent listening and interpersonal skills with a keen eye for detail

- Self-driven and motivated, able to work with minimal supervision
