(a) No 1 smartphone brand

(b) No 1 smart TV brand

(c) No 1 fitness wearable brand in India

Xiaomi India started its offline journey two years ago; in mid-2017 Today we are present in hundreds of cities and towns through our various stores Mi Home, Mi Studio, Mi Store, and Mi Preferred Partners We have seen exponential growth in our offline sales over last 2 years from less than 1% market share in early 2017, to currently 20%+ market share within the offline segment

Role summary

- Responsible for driving Xiaomi business in the respective city/territory/area

- Build Xiaomi brand and drive sales via offline channels

- Build a strong relationship with the local distributors, retailers and local regulatory bodies

- Drive sales in the city with local distributors and key retailers in the region/city/territory

- Develop a keen understanding of Xiaomi products & how they can fulfill the local consumer needs

- Execute local marketing and brand building strategies

- Monitor local end-to-end operations to ensure maximum sales and efficiency

- Build relationships with local regulatory bodies and manage regulatory concerns (if any)


- Deep expertise in in sales, distribution and retail operations in that territory

- Minimum 2 years of experience Up to 5 years

- Must have a degree in BTech, Engineering or any equivalent degree MBA preferred

- Prior team leading experience (good to have!) Should be able to manage large teams

- Strong analytical and problem solving approach

- Should be OK with traveling 4-5 days a week (must!)

- Past mobile handset sales experience - not necessary

- Preferred industries handset, consumer durable, telecom, FMCG, paints etc
