Group Description The Global Wealth Management Controllers group performs the following functions

Month end Close calculate, and oversee accruals and reserves Prepare and review of revenue & expense variance & trend analysis Oversight of Inter-company transactions which includes review and resolution of all Inter Company breaks
Regulatory Reporting Ensure regulatory reporting is accurate and filed before due date Coordination of PWC audits & local regulators Daily collateral monitoring Provide DRQ & supplementary data to Corporate & Regulatory Groups
Treasury Operations Managing & optimization of the legal entitys capital investments, monitor daily cash movements and transfers, oversight liquidity and regulatory exposure, provide appropriate funding of the legal entities DDA accounts by minimizing the cost, monitor and assess the impact on the banks cost of funding & margins
Controls Interpretation & implementation of Corporate Accounting Policies, Quarterly review & substantiation of the Other Assets & Liabilities Work with other WM teams to ensure proper controls around financial activity and assist with resolution on any identified Control issues

Skills required

Bachelors Degree in Accounting

5-7 years experience in accounting department (internal or external)

CA or CPA candidate preferred

Firm working knowledge of US GAAP and a general understanding of IFRS

Strong analytical / problem-solving skills ability to analyze complicated problems/scenarios, come up with root cause analysis as well as remediation steps

Able to multitask in constantly changing environment and attention to detail

Intrinsically motivated / hard worker
Must be highly disciplined, a self-starter, and have the ability to execute on assignments independently
Experience working in an environment that requires attention to detail and adherence to strict rules / standards

Ability to properly communicate to all levels of management and staff

Strong organizational skills

Ability to learn JPMC Corporate / Private Banking financial systems

Experience in banking / financial institution a plus

Ability to work independently and take ownership of processes and functions

Excellent computer skills and capabilities knowledge of Microsoft office required
