Job Description:

Role Context

- The job is to think like a publisher/journalist, leading the development of content initiatives in all forms to drive new and current business for the SMEs Which includes ensuring all content, is consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience for all channels of content including online, social media, email, point of purchase, mobile, video, print and in-person This is to be done for each buyer persona within the Foundation & the SME Cohorts

- The Author is the subset of the leader and should be able to develop content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term marketing targets, by collaborating with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout


- Ownership of content performance for assigned verticals from creation to execution and performance reporting of editorial strategy

- Manage and motivate writers through all stages of the writing and publishing process to ensure high quality output that upholds editorial standards and protect our brand

- Innovate the latest in visual solutions for all content and learning formats including workshops and videos and infographics for learning for entrepreneurs

- Ability to manage high quality with modest resourcing of the deliverable

- Experience on Knowledge Management Strategy

- Experience on B2B apps, knowledge management, content management on the platform app

- Manage outsourced content authors, network of authors

- Liaise with Transformation team for briefing, instruction and training of video content production to be done by them with the cohorts and with Sourcing and Selection team for cohorts and advisors

- Brief and work with writers to research, create and edit on content

- Manage content on a daily basis to ensure content updates and uploads to the platform app

- Specifically proficient in video production, editing, scripting, impact assessment, in addition to the text, infographic, visualization skills and other usual digital formats

- Integration of content activities within traditional marketing campaigns

- Establishing work flow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content Work with technical team to implement appropriate CMS

- Work closely with Content head on all creative and branding initiatives to ensure a consistent message across channels

- Positive brand recognition and consistency across chosen published channels

- An increase in defined customer engagement metrics (measured by users taking the desired action- ie conversions, subscription, purchase, etc)

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

- Proven work experience as a Content manager/ head

- Hands on experience with MS Office and WordPress and other sophisticated technologies for authoring, editing, publishing and sharing/ learning

- Basic technical understanding of HTML, XHTML, CSS, Java, web publishing, Flash, etc

- Fluency in web analytics tools (Adobe Omniture, Google Analytics), social media marketing applications (HootSuite, Tweetdeck, etc) and leading social media monitoring platforms (Radian6, etc)

- Familiarity with social media, knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics

- Has a wide network of content production agencies and freelancers to be able to produce content in short notice

- Experience creating a resource or library of content organized indicating SEO, translations and version control

- B2B consulting experience is preferred

- Preferred work experience from large consulting firms

- BSc degree in Journalism, Marketing or relevant field
