Launched in 2016 by IIT-IIM Alumni, we currently operate in Bangalore and Hyderabad Founding team consists of people from IIM Ahmedabad, IIT Bombay, and ESSEC, Paris with leadership experience in Business, Operations, Tech & Product across Flipkart, Amazon, Housing, Zoomcar, and Sony We have recently partnered with multiple strategic and financial investors to grow to over 5000 scooters across Bangalore and Hyderabad

The Role

The City Manager will be a Business Head for a region, managing existing and new stations, and reporting directly to the VP of Growth The incumbent will be responsible for setting up new stations, managing the entire P&L, with a strong focus on driving sales and optimizing operations

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end of the region comprising of about stations, from set-up to operations and sales, with overall P&L responsibility covering rides, revenue and profitability of the region

- Work with internal teams to identify and set up new stations at rapid pace in strategic locations

- Set up and manage distributor and supplier relationships for the region

- Work on new city expansion and new station scouting

- Recruit individual team members within the region and on resource planning

- Optimize and manage operations to ensure service levels and maintain supply chain efficiency and meet operational working capital cycle targets

- Manage the entire regions team to deliver the overall business objectives

- Managing and controlling compliances of the business in the region, including liaising with local authorities and creating alliances with local customer bodies

Desired Skills and Expertise

- 8+ year experience as a City Manager in a retail / fmcg business or preferably from a Startup

- Experience of building and managing large and diverse teams

- Strong flexibility and problem-solving skills, with independent ownership and result orientation

- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment to plan and manage a variety of projects

- Commercial insight and understanding

- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and demonstrate creativity and intellectual flexibility in an uncertain and rapidly changing environment

Qualifications MBA from Tier 1 / 2 B School
