About the team

This role is a part of our Virtualization Team Career level professional role Moderate skills with high level of proficiency Develops and implements solutions that require analysis and research Works on small to large, complex projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments Possesses knowledge in a specific business area Works on one or more projects as a team member Works under general supervision with latitude for independent judgment

Mandatory skills

Experience with VMWare / Citrix

Experience with Windows server 2008/2012

Experience with HP Blades and iLO

What you will be doing

As part of the Cloud Services Infrastructure Support team, the engineer will be responsible for

Receiving and analyzing technical issues from clients

Finding and applying solutions to client issues

Periodically providing on-call remote weekend support across both Saturday and Sunday

Recognizing and escalating critical issues according to policy

Install patches/configuration changes for products

Learning new products and technologies as they are introduced into our systems

Managing your own workload and tasks to ensure appropriate prioritization and timely completion

What you bring

Education - Bachelor or higher degree

1-4 years experience in working in IT services organization

on-call support duties

Strong analytical thinking and problem solving skills

Desire to work in a team-based environment

Strong Proficiency in Microsoft Server OS

TCP/IP based networking experience

SAN technology experience

Citrix XenApp, Access Gateway, NetScaler knowledge

SFTP/FTP experience

Added bonus if you have

Knowledge of FIS products and services
Willingness to learn new Technology and Challenges
Experience in Production / Technical / Operations Support
Knowledge of the business goals, objectives and business operations for the appropriate FIS organization
Knowledge of financial services industry
Knowledge of basic financial analysis principles and ratios
