Job Description:




  • Management



  • Reference data setups for counterparties and books



  • Regulatory reporting checks and controls



  • Exception Queue Monitoring within Systems



  • MIS/KPI reporting



  • Nostro & Custody Break Investigations for Securities and Money Market Products



  • Work in close partnership with various stake holders ie Portfolio Managers (Front Office), Business Management, Reference Data, Back Office, Technology & PMO on BAU/adhoc management requests



  • Timely resolution and escalation of issues



  • Publish metrics to the relevant stakeholders and the Management for review



  • Participate in the identification or development of technology to support new business flows



  • Generate test cases and execute user acceptance testing to ensure new technology delivers and functions as expected



  • Develop written procedures covering all aspects of required business as usual tasks



  • Participate in cross-functional training to ensure adequate coverage







  • Graduate Degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or Banking



  • 10-12 years or above working experience in Middle Office, Trade/Sales Support, Market Risk, Finance or Product Control



  • Good product knowledge in Fixed Income, Treasury, FX and Interest Derivatives products



  • Thorough understanding of transaction cycle, infrastructure & associated operational and financial processes and controls



  • Ability to deal with high level of adhoc requests and deliver under pressure



  • Advanced Excel skills required, MS PowerPoint proficiency a plus



  • Have a track record of formulating innovative ideas and gaining buy-in from senior management in addition to a track record of execution/delivery/process improvement/leadership in a challenging environment



  • Should be creative and innovative; challenges status quo; generates strategic advice/product/client solutions



  • Leadership Leads by example and is an effective role model (eg takes the lead and actions reflect an appropriate level of independence; demonstrates the ability to initiate and effect change and continuous improvement, contributes significantly to the on-going development of people)
