JOB PURPOSE

The role is to lead the growth and strategic development of CoE Reporting in respect of standard process capabilities, skill sets, talent pipeline, stakeholder engagement, high quality service delivery and controls

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the team of tableau designers responsible for designing and delivering financial dashboards in Tableau

Ability to advise what is best-in-class visualisation for tracking performance of banks

Good understanding of performance management in banks; especially differentiation between which visuals are good for which metrics

Good understanding of use cases and user experience required in the dashboards

Liaison & translate between users demands and the data team (supply) Ability to transform demand into written requirements for the data team to work with

Work hand-in-hand with the data team to ensure data is available for tableau designers in the required format and to meet users demands

Experience in managing product delivery; has played the role of a functional product head

Govern scope and timelines with minimal impact on delivery quality

Engage and manage senior stakeholders across the function to agree requirements that can be suited to deliver via Tableau/BI tools

Good understanding of work allocation across the team for efficient utilisation of resources

Industry experience in incubating and delivering new capability and solutions in the BI/Digital MI space

Relevant experience in documenting design standards

Various business heads of GFS

HR, GPS, Fin, Risk & Compliance

KEY COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE

Trained & worked with BI tools

Strong Analytical and Strategic mindset, coupled with a thorough understanding of Finance

Experience of having led BI programs & projects in banking industry

Have worked in Financial Planning & Analysis

Ability to understand and connect business drivers and rationale for and application of those relevant to the Performance management process

Significant experience of working with senior management team and of interfacing with and influencing senior stakeholders

Strong ability to understand financial statements and its drivers and synthesize them into meaningful analyses as required Develop analysis & interpretations as required to facilitate management decision making

A leader, a team player with the management ability and track record to secure the confidence and respect of the peers, stakeholders and the executive management team

Ability to culturally orient in diverse & international team environment and lead and inspire multi-disciplinary teams

Ability to work effectively under pressure, multi task, lead through ambiguities, influence where he/she does not have direct authority & build on unstructured formative situations

Qualification

Chartered Accountant or MBA with 15 years of relevant experience with BI tools

Effective communication skills, including presenting and influencing senior management

Professionally trained in BI tools

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Solid people and project management skills

Leadership skills and ability to influence others in decision making

Relationship and stakeholder management skills is important

Initiative and proactive thinking
