REPORTING TO Chief Business Officer

SPAN OF CONTROL pan INDIA team ; to be decided ; as he will set up this team

LOCATION - Bangalore

CTC negotiable pa approx ( depending upon current package , experience , education , interview status )

JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE

Background to the role

- The company is looking to bring in a VP - Business, New Products & Initiatives to drive the P&L for this new business initiatives category The company aims to grow the business beyond its core product of offering working capital loans to SME and the individual is expected to drive this business initiative as a P&L Head

- The individual will be responsible for creating partnerships and alliances with financial services providers to offer various products including some co-branded products as well The individual will work with sales and marketing team to drive the adoption of new products with existing customers as well as new customers of the company

- The individual will be a part of senior leadership team reporting to the CBO and also working closely with the leadership team in defining the strategic direction for the firm

Key Responsibilities

- Build and own the P&L of new businesses of cross selling and up selling of new financial services products to existing and new customers

- Responsible for setting up partnership and alliances with manufacturers of products in lending, insurance and financial services space

- Work with marketing and sales team to ensure selling and adoption of these products for existing and new customers

- Devise business strategies and tactics to identify most valuable segment of the market with a goal to generate the most revenue possible

- Develop and implement a plan to create demand and achieve revenue growth This may involve one or more potential streams of revenue

- Optimize all the drivers of direct sales, marketing including team, technology, spend and programs, to achieve predictability, cost-efficiency, and scale This will include the development and monitoring of key business metrics, as well as quarterly and annual forecasts that will both be used to manage the business

- Create an environment of inclusive growth which builds a culture of good values and commitment of the team, to achieve business objectives

- Lead and manage the team for this business initiatives

Industry NBFC / Small Finance Banks / Payment banks / Mid sized banks

Education Masters in Business Administration

Experience - 10 - 18 years of professional experience in Internet or Financial services space in relevant segment

Skill Set

- Experience of managing P&L with strong understanding of building partnership and alliances for launch of new products

- High commercial acumen with a good head for numbers and data, should be able to derive business insights

- Successful track record of driving P&L

- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and cross functional team

- Excellent people management skills, able to drive high performance teams, proven expertise in managing external as well as internal stakeholders

- Should be able to provide strategic leadership as well have hands-on leadership style with an innate ability to roll up the sleeves and get the work done

- Shows high energy, passion and high level of enthusiasm

- Proven abilities to lead and manage people at all levels within the organization
