Origin Consultants Pvt Ltd has been retained by an E-Commerce Portal focused on Real Estate Marketing, Real Estate Investment and Real Estate Broking to identify a Vice President Business Development to be based at Mumbai

The company with 1,500 Employees and growing fast is a premier online provider of specialized real estate marketing solutions and related services The company provides an online promotion platform for builders and real estate developers to promote their projects to investors and buyers across the globe The company currently operates across 20 cities and plans to swiftly expand operations to 60 cities across India

Job Purpose

Manage the Companys Business Development Organisation in an effective, aggressive manner
Lead the Corporate Sales and SMB Sales Teams to meet and exceed Revenue Targets and drive Profitability


Identify Pan India Real Estate markets and customer segments and develop the strategies, tactics and teams needed to bring business & revenue generation opportunities to fruition
Be the driving force in the development of the work ethic, culture and values of the business development group
Establish through personal example, the style and approach which will characterize the Companys dealings with the marketplace
Build, develop and manage a large national team to handle strategic accounts and key accounts of builders and real estate developers and SMB accounts of property dealers & real estate brokers across the country to achieve sales and revenue generation targets through client acquisition, new business generation and relationship management
Develop and deploy Pan India sales and revenue generation strategies, market capture strategies, bid-to-win strategies and manage the proposal process for client acquisition and repeat sales
Manage strategic opportunities with a consultative solution selling approach including account management and client relationship management
Build strategic partnerships with builders, real estate developers and property dealers and have a pulse of the market
Establish, manage and retain CXO level relationships in client organizations and be seen as a proven industry leader by customers and the sales team
Provide leadership to sales & pre-sales team, manage the strategic opportunities, be the catalyst for driving sales and delivery execution including directly leading complex bids
Lead and motivate team in meeting and exceeding targets through impactful Lead Management and Review Mechanisms
Ensure that the strategic, key account & SMB teams are customer centric and propel the business for higher growth
Ensure Market analysis on a regular basis to form strategies & acquire business
Develop & successfully roll out innovative presentations, collaterals, campaigns & promotions
Proactively share wins & best practices across the sales organization

Qualifications & Experience

12 to 18 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management Sales Operations and Sales Strategy
Demonstrated entrepreneurial agility combined with Proven Achievement of Large Sales Targets (in terms of growth and absolute)
Currently handling a Pan India Business Development / Sales / Revenue Generation role managing large sales teams
Exceptional Consultative and Relationship-Based Sales Concept Selling Skills and ability to attract, interact and generate revenue from large corporate, enterprise-level and SMB clients
Ability to implement a team culture of understanding clients business needs and recommending appropriate marketing and business growth solutions
Experienced in hiring, training, managing, mentoring and rapidly and effectively scaling sales teams
Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies, manage large national sales teams and leverage the right resources to optimize results
Experience of selling products or services to builders, real estate developers and brokers Pan India
Possession of builders and real estate industry contacts
Analytical skills with data and financials
Ability to travel as necessary
