Job Description:

Hiring for growing client which is engaged in manufacturing of bulk drugs addressing to various high potential therapeutic segments and has envisaged high growth plans through infrastructure creation and CMS



- To lead sales function within the company and generate substantial business through this segment

- To be responsible for companys business performance, customer profitability, and service excellence

- To be responsible for organization capability development, team and general management

Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Marketing

- New Business development and expansion of current client base

- Responsible for the creation of movement and the profitability of the stream on a Pan India basis

- Meeting the assigned Volume & Revenue targets

- Ensure that the team continuously increases the outdoor sales coverage

- Ensure that Marketing Plans are updated on a quarterly /annual basis

Business Intelligence

- Development and Mapping of the assigned territories and customers

- Keeping up to date with the competition strategies and market intelligence considering the insights from previous quarters

- Understand the domestic customers and their business

- Analyze and understand business trends

Client & Receivable Management

- Ensuring that sales provides rate quotations, offers, inputs to tender documents (where applicable), tariff related charges etc the clients as per the set authority limits

- Managing and ensuring that outstanding payments, Credit and Collection issues are done well within the specified timeline

- Ensure that rates quoted to clients, offers, discounts etc are within authority limits

- Discuss and work in conjunction with operations to ensure client performance is satisfactory and is up to date

- Ensure to maintain and control Credit Limit Ageing

- Ensure that contractual obligations are correctly stated and communicated clearly to clients and are understood by internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Operations & Finance etc)

- To ensure service levels are maintained as per the agreed KPIs of the employees

- Create customer service strategy and time bound SOPs to address service failures in order to bring high level of customer satisfaction

- Ensure that the team has updated and prepared client profiles

- Customer Relationship Management

- To build and define the overall customer service strategy in concurrence with the internal customers & seniors

Team & General Management

- Provide leadership to the team on sales strategy and execution

- Build strong, value-driven & profitable sales team

- Guiding team to create best credit policy both in terms of credit period and credit limit

- Ensure that the team functions and behaves in a professional manner

- Building upon the companys brand

- Review the performance of all the customer service staff every month

- Take weekly performance meeting to address all the challenges being faced by the team mates and provide solution

- Make sure that team promptly respond and resolve the customer complaints

- Responsible for conducting periodic review on different aspects in timely manner

- Assist management in special projects as may be assigned from time to time

- Be fully accountable for the motivational and HR needs of the team members

Qualifications

- MBA preferred with specialization in - Sales & Marketing,)

Experience Required

- 12-15 years of experience of key account management / business development within pharmaceutical or similar industries

- Manage a team of sales people, with proven leadership and team management skills
