Job Description:

Individual will be responsible to developing manual test scripts

Responsible to executing automated and manual test cases

Responsible to tracking and logging defects during execution

Generating reports such as defect analysis report, project status report, etc

Actively participate in requirement analysis and test design

Identify opportunities for continuous improvement

Provide proactive advice and feedback throughout the software testing lifecycle for prevention and early correction of quality problem

Document lessons learned, help maintain knowledge database

Demonstrate ability to execute and improve upon existing QA processes and workflows

Review functional and design specifications to ensure full understanding of individual deliverables 

Backend database testing including validations

Good coordination with the team and comfortable working in fast-paced environment 

Excellent written / verbal communication 

Good Knowledge in web service testing & Confluence

Good Knowledge in ALM (Application Lifecycle Management)

Have good understanding of Software testing lifecycle

Should have Knowledge in various test development and design methodologies

Working knowledge on SQL

Good working knowledge on Agile methodology and process

Preferred Skills (good to have)

Sound interpersonal and team working skills

Hands on automation knowledge

Hands on experience on Unix based platform

Basic knowledge of SQL queries

Have knowledge in any scripting skills

Demonstrate relationship building and teamwork skills within all levels of the organization in a collaborative effort

Must be adaptable in a changing environment and be effective in many different business settings

Should be able to understand customer / end users requirements and should own the issue till closure
