Job Summary

Software Engineer to develop new features and functionality for, and to maintain Software running on-premise environments This role requires a high level of curiosity, learning aptitude, creativity in assessing user requests for custom development, and proposing technical solutions that meet the desired requirements and best any existing architecture

Responsibilities and Duties

Troubleshoot and resolve production system and software issues, against all application tiers
Evaluate incoming custom development requests from users, propose technical solutions that will satisfy enhancement requests, and complete development for these projects as assigned
Take ownership of assigned projects and drive them to completion in a timely manner
Ensure that tasks and projects meet technical requirements and comply with customers development and technology standards
Collaborate with QA and technology partners to ensure that software deliverables have been well tested
Learn new technologies, as needed

Qualifications and Skills Ability to learn and develop proficiency with new technologies is a must
Understanding of relational database concepts, and basic proficiency with data modeling
Knowledge of PEO/ASO industry and/or HR software and HCM domain
Relevant technologies UnIData servers and programming for vertical applications using UnIData
Experience with UniQuery and usage of UniObjects in a NET environment
Experience with multi-value databases (PICK), UniBasic, System Builder and/or DesignBais
Proficiency with the use and administration of Apache Tomcat web container under Linux and Windows
Experience with Java

Experience with Agile methodologies, DevOps and version control tools
Willingness to adapt and evolve to technology changes
Possesses high urgency, integrity and accountability
Outstanding communication and collaboration ability
