About the Role

The Media Sales Manager will drive ancillary driver earnings for the Uber Rides business for various regions in India through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new businesses keen on advertising on Uber as a platform This role will develop strong relationships with key client accounts and will generate ancillary earnings for Ubers most engaged driver partners This role will be expected to be a strong individual contributor and will report into the Program Manager for Ancillary Earnings The Media Sales Lead will work closely with Uber Marketing, Operations and Community Operations

What You- ll Do

- Explain the value proposition of advertising on Uber as a platform to prospects

- Identify prospect needs and understand business drivers behind requests

- Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline via CRM

- Understand lead qualification and prioritize effectively

- Construct, forecast, and manage your sales pipeline via CRM

- Own the entire Order to Cash collection cycle for Advertising campaigns executed on Uber as a platform

- Collaborate with Operations and Finance team to build sales playbooks that will be used to scale best practices globally and train our growing team

- Execute in short-term sprints while maintaining a vision for long-term sustained success

- Lead a sales team

- Communicate effectively and efficiently via phone, email and in-person meetings

What You- ll need

- A minimum of a Bachelors/Masters degree

- 3+ years of B2B sales experience; media sales experience preferred

- Experience working on and exceeding sales KPIs

- Proven track record of growing client accounts and revenue targets

- Demonstrable experience using insights and data-driven decision making to inform the sales process

- Developing sales strategies and market pitch to respond to a dynamic market landscape
