Job Purpose

The key objectives of this role is to complete necessary steps to ensure FATCA and CRS (Common Reporting Standard) relevant data for our clients and structures is reviewed and documented within the Citi Trust Platform (CTP)

In addition the role is required to assist with the collation, review and dispatch of financial information to the Citi reporting team for regulatory reporting

Responsibility will extend to mailings, collection and tracking of forms to ensure these are obtained from all Trust Related Parties and appropriate documentation is correctly completed for each structure in a timely manner against internal or external deadlines

In addition the team may be allocated projects associated with tax or regulatory related filings for Fiduciary Services

Job Background/context

This role is based in Jersey but will be global in context The team will focus initially on Citi Trust International (CTI) clients

The team will need to coordinate with Trust Officers in all CTIs locations

Key Responsibilities and Goals

Conduct a due diligence review (DDR) and ongoing reviews of all client relationships This would include a review of all indicia relating to residence and focus on all relevant jurisdictions for each client
Collation of Trust Related Parties ((TRP) and financial information to ensure regulatory reporting goals are met
Conduct appropriate information mailing to all clients to obtain outstanding certifications
Update systems to ensure Citi Trust Platform (CTP) system has all relevant residence/domicile information and information relating to Due Diligence Requirements (DDR) Update CTP for all data noted as missing during the review (TRPs, ID information etc)
Track, monitor and follow-up on all client mailings
Prepare self-certification forms for Trusts / Entities (as required by Citi) in accordance with advice from Corporate or Trust Tax
Review self-certs (per guidance of corporate tax) and assist with validation procedure
Report on metrics and progress (including document management of signed forms, in partnership with Document Management Team)
Resolve indicia identified in accordance with project plan
Review and maintain CTP TRP data as well as data clean up
Initial identification of reportable entities and individuals
Formulation and analysis of the identified reportable population
Completion of Fiduciary Risk Support Services filer templates
Responding to CRS queries from Bankers/ controllers on CRS and FATCA tax reporting queries only RAD will communicate with trust teams and or Bankers
Annual CRS and FATCA attestations

Other Responsibilities as required

Data updates and data integrity on CTP
Project based review of processes to simplify and automate where possible

Development Value

Good experience with major International Bank
Exposure to compliance, tax and regulatory matters

Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum of 4 GCSEs
Preferably with progress towards STEP or equivalent professional qualification

Knowledge/Experience

Experience within a Trust or Banking environment
Working knowledge of CRS, FATCA and other global tax regimes a requirement
Sound knowledge of Trusts and Companies and ability to identify clients and power holders
Good computer literacy (Word, Advanced Excel, Visual Basics, Programming, Outlook)
