As a Territory Manager at Pearson you are customer facing in assisting and supporting the transformation of learning You are also responsible for creating effective and innovative sales solutions that address issues and challenges facing institutions, instructors, and students today in order to meet necessary educational outcomes

Primary Responsibilities

Demonstrate a strong commitment to a positive, a collaborative, and a team based selling culture by working with other direct and indirect team members to achieve goals
Can work in a fast-past environment with the ability to problem solve
Employ effective consultative techniques including pre-call planning and productive questioning strategies that focused on learning outcomes that lead to winning business with a Pearson learning solution
Ability to sell and present Pearson digital offerings over the phone, through virtual video meetings, in written communication, and in person- 75 PERCENT of sales calls to be led virtually, 25 PERCENT in person and when required; depending on accounts, this percentage could vary
Demonstrate superb organizational and follow-up abilities; maintain product knowledge around Pearson digital offerings, the educational industry, and factors influencing the market environment in order to provide advantageous insights for customers
Exhibit strong knowledge and ability to work within Pearsons customer relationship management system, SalesForce
Strong analytical skills
The ability to problem solve

Qualifications

Required Knowledge and Experience

Completion of a post-secondary education (related experience can also be taken into consideration)
Sales aptitude is required
On-line literacy, experience and aptitude to work with new technologies
Proven track record of success

Skills/knowledge/abilities
High Achievement and consistent track record for excelling in a fast-paced college and/or work environment
Sales experience or aptitude via enthusiasm for the process of investigating, creating and fulfilling customers needs
Excellent presentation skills
Experience with Learning Technologies or curiosity about the development of traditional and technology based intellectual property
Technological proficiency and strong working knowledge of the internet, mobile technologies, and computer applications and business systems
Exceptional verbal and written communication
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to use mobile technologies
Some travel may be required
