The Role Responsibilities & Our Ideal Candidate

Branch Performance

To contribute to overall branch performance

Ensure focus on balance sheet growth by tellers

Ensure successful referrals of bank products by tellers

Cost control/ Operating efficiency

To ensure that costs are within budget figures

Migration of cash withdrawals, cash deposits and credit card repayments/ cash advances to ATMs

Drive usage of internet banking/ mobile banking

Continuous procedure training to branch staff

Individual measures to improve the service levels and to provide support to individual RMs

Productivity Ensuring high teller productivity levels and a high number of teller transactions

RTF Enhancing Net Promoter Score to ensure good quality of service levels in the branch and to ensure client satisfaction

Improve customer wait experience

Reduce wait time and overall turnaround time

Ensure proper scheduling of leave and lunch recesses towards continuity in customer service

Collective measures to support the governance and operations capabilities

Ensure management control and performance/operating standards are appropriate and are being adhered to

Key Control Standards, SORR, LSORR along with KRIs to be accurately made & reviewed along with appropriate samples and sent in time

Transaction processing to be carried out in the branch as per agreed internal and external policies and procedures

Operating losses / Frauds are minimized / reduced Necessary follow up on excesses and provisions created to be tracked very closely

Ensure that transaction processing at the teller counters is error free and as per the delegated authority levels

All transactions are processed keeping in mind the ML and KYC norms

Others

System Updation ebranch, EBBS, eopal etc

Transaction processing Supporting Processes applicable to teller transaction processing (eg Teller transaction policy, diseased account handling, dormant account handling, NR transactions etc)

Compliance to processes and Regulations (Internal & External)

Supporting in day-to-day running of accounts

Ensuring currency processed is not counterfeit and adhering to note/ coin refund & exchange policy

Ensuring adherence to Time-stamping processes

Supporting in Remittances RTGS, NEFT, OTT

Updation of Forms eg form A4 (NR transaction>1 Lakh - Internal) and A2 (Remittance to be sent out FEMA)

Adherence to Process circulars eg Attachment circular

Updation of Books (Cash, LRT, FTS package)

Appropriate archival of Reports & Documents as & when required

Team Performance/ Attrition / Team Engagement

Action plans towards improving My voice scores by 5 PERCENT over previous year

Ensure employee attrition is less than 15 PERCENT

ILDP for team to be updated on People soft

At least 1 career move up for staff in the branch
