Summary Technical leadership and mentoring of the junior members of the team along with hands-on approach to ensure systems are run efficiently

Job Description Experience

Knowledge of OOPS concepts, Design Patterns

Expertise in Java/J2EE

Good knowledge on Web Services, SOAP, REST

Good knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL

Knowledge in JMS, EJB, Hibernate, ESB, Integration

Understanding of cloud concepts

Knowledge and ability to work on support utilities like

Dashboard implementation

Design of system health check and reporting

Management of system alerts

System monitoring automation

Issues management

System maintenance planning

Large migration and upgrades

Very good communication skills (verbal and written)

Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills

Ability to adapt quickly to an existing and complex environment

Expertise in build and release management tools like Hudson/Jenkins, Apache Ant and Maven

Expertise in versioning tools SVN

Ability to scale quickly on new technologies

Must be a strong technical leader, detail oriented, self-motivated and perform well under pressure

Good analytical skills

Roles & Responsibilities

Technical leadership and mentoring of the junior members of the team

Providing technical support for IT applications

Day-to-day support responsibilities

System health check and monitoring

Enhancement and improvement of systems

On-call support

Future planning and execution of system maintenance

Root cause analysis

Proof of concepts for new systems

Problem and issue management

Prioritisation of ticketing

Automation of manual tasks, monitoring and business reporting

Technical ownership of the projects and deliver them without any hand-holding

Hands-on coding and perform peer-review

Build and release management

Client interfacing

Onsite offshore coordination and management

Nice to have

SOA experience in any platform like MuleSoft/WebSphere/Oracle OSB/JCAPS

UI knowledge or experience in frameworks like Struts/Spring/JQuery/Hibernate
