Technical Support Engineer - Level II
Job Location Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Experience 1 Years

Candidate must be flexible in shift working between 8 AM to 11 PM IST

We are seeking an individual who is a quick learner, can think on their feet and is ready to take on the challenge of working in a dynamic support team based in India
You will be working closely with the operations/support and development teams

Key responsibilities
Liaising with 1st level support team in order to provide operational and functional support of the web applications
Analyze incoming requests, make initial determinations, and prioritize appropriately within a dynamic workload
Monitors and tracks all tickets, provides tickets status updates at regular intervals and communicates accordingly
Investigate and troubleshoot application related issues raised by the users/clients
Effectively communicates procedural and technical issues within product development team for resolution of any product related bugs
Working towards team contribution to get excellent results

Required skills/experience
Java Web Application development / support experience
Knowledge of web technologies, JSP, HTML, XML ,CSS, JavaScript
Knowledge or prior work experience on any application server (Apache Tomcat preferred)
Ability to write custom SQL script
Familiar with web application build, deployment & monitoring process
Programming/debugging/troubleshooting skills in Java language
Ability to analyse application and server logs, error interpretation
Proven problem solving ability
Strong organizational, communication skills and detail oriented
BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or similar technical field

Desirable skills
Experience in a client facing role providing support in a software development firm / environment
Knowledge of different web browser behaviours, understanding of plugin and computer settings that can affect web applications
Knowledge of different OS (Windows, Mac OS, and iOS)
