Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Pointnext Customer Solution Center (CSC) is seeking to identify highly motivated and qualified individualsfor an opportunityas a Technical Support Consultant to join our team in Alpharetta, GAThis is a full time, permanent position starting May 29th or June 25th

HPEs customer base is expanding rapidly and, as a result, we are growing our team in the Pointnext Customer Solution Center (CSC)This position is part of a growing worldwide team providing enterprise support to customers in a 24/7/365 environment As a result, positions will require some participation in shift-rotations to provide coverage on weekends and holidays Hours and shift assignments are subject to change, based on the needs of the businessAbility and willingness to work a flexible schedule are required


As a Technical Support Engineer/Consultant, you will respond to, resolve, and handle technical support calls ranging from monitoring to issues requiring technical and problem solving skills As needed, you will effectively engage and team with senior team members to expedite problem resolution, and deliver the highest levels of customer service and customer satisfaction for HPEs enterprise IT customers

Youll have the opportunity to expand your expertise on the products we deliver and support, while gaining additional experience as a Technical Support Consultant, which can lead to future careers within HPE

Successfully resolves hardware and software technical issues from customers
Responds to service, product, technical, and customer relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs
Proactively assists internal or external businesses and end-users to avoid or reduce problem occurrence
Reviews and helps resolve complex business issues
Utilizes internal knowledge management systems to resolve problems
Utilizes Information Technology Information Libraries (ITIL)
Articulates clearly in writing and verbally to manage customer reported issues
Engages team members for support as required to ensure end users/clients Service Level Agreements are met


Must have completed an Associates or Bachelors Degree in Technology, Electrical, Computer Science or related
Must have graduated within 1 year of the start date (May 2017 to May /June 2018)
Worked in a technology or electrical environment (labs or work experience)
Hands-on with or built technology (classes or work experience)
Basic knowledge in servers, software, or storage (classes taken)
Ability and desire to quickly learn new technologies and products
Excellent customer communication skills via phone, email, chat; ability to handle critical customer issues with confidence
Analytical and problem solving skills
Ideal skills is to be self-motivated to meet deadlines, be organized and to communicate with a global audience
Must be able to commute to Alpharetta, GA Relocation assistance is not provided


Proficiency in Spanish is highly preferred
Programming experience is preferred
Certifications in technology in Cisco, Operating Systems or Linux is preferred
Exposure to case management applications such as Salesforcecom
