Envision having a meeting using Telepresence with your customer who is somewhere around the world and yet you talk the same language technology The next day, working from home, you could help your customers achieve results - making their business more automated and productive

In your role as Virtual System Engineer in the Software Development (SDT) team, you will partner with our Field Sales teams in a pre-sales technical role, showcasing Cisco capabilities in integrating software platforms (Cisco and Third Party platforms)

You will work directly with account teams, customers, and partners in designing solutions This will allow you to be the trusted technical advisor that not only guides the customer but also develops the solutions that make Cisco an indispensable part of their business automation

Who You Are

You have 2-5 years relevant experience

You are passionate about coding and improving your coding skills

You enjoy crafting presentations and collaborating with colleagues

You are passionate about solving customer issues and promoting the Cisco brand

You hold a BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent

Desired Skills

You have experience working in a Virtual environment utilizing various communication

methods and products to connect with customers

Working experience and proficiency in one or more of the following Java, C, C ,Python

Proficiency in a variety of operating systems and platforms Windows, Linux

Experience with orchestration/configuration tools Puppet, Chef, Ansible

Experience with databases Oracle, SQL

Full stack development a plus Javascript, Ruby, Apache, DB

Cisco certifications CCNA or equivalent is a plus

You have other industry/software certifications (Linux, AWS, Azure)

Pre-sales experience is required
