Your role Are you excited about playing a key role in keeping UBS competitive in an increasingly digitized worked?

We are looking for someone who will;

- Investigate and propose areas of improvement for TOC streams that delivers holistic benefit to the organization based on a deep knowledge of UBS process, toolset and Applications

- Be responsible for management of the service improvements, vendor compliance, Internal organization compliance policies

- Develop effective and efficient operational solutions, process and implement to achieve the financial challenges of the organizations

- Work closely with the vendor, key stakeholders to plan for cost optimized solutions, manage delivery, implementation, process improvement and production product support

- Strong analytical, problem-solving and synthesizing skills (ie you know how to figure problems out)

- Fundamental IT skills across Windows, UNIX, JAVA, ORACLE, AppDynamics, SPLUNK, ITIL, Automation Anywhere, IPcentre

- Leadership, Crisis Management, Production Program Management

- A natural ability to solve complex issues (covering both technical and business areas)

- Manage the full spectrum of Production Support responsibilities, based on the ITIL Framework Incident and Problem Management, Change Management, Risk Management

Your team Youll be working in the Technical Operation Centre IB Ops + Market Regulation team in Pune India We support over 200 applications with its major stakeholder being Operations The team has a global remit with a major part of the team located in India providing coverage and support to the Securities, Derivatives, Margin, FX and Data functions The team also supports an extensive problem management process and is part of an automation program

The operations stakeholders have extensive presence globally and this role is expected to interact and collaborate on a day to day basis understanding the changing face of the environment

Your expertise You should have

- Domain knowledge of back-office (settlements, accounting, corporate actions, transaction reporting), middle office including financial / client reporting, data analytics and reconciliation

- ~12-15 years of experience in production services with strong service delivery skills delivering quality operational services to customers and vendor management experience as well as Technology organizational design and governance

- A proven track record of collaborating in matrix management environments, driving consensus and constructively challenging IT Stakeholders as well as Clients

- Successfully managed vendor / offshore transitions as well as transformational initiatives (eg Process Excellence etc)

- Ability to drive change across an organization and influence key stakeholders

- Practical experience using prototyping tools to create interactive demonstrations of new product capabilities

- Outstanding analytical capability and the ability to synthesize findings

- Fluency in emergent technologies and how to apply them pragmatically to different business challenges

- A passion for new tools (SPLUNK, APPDYNAMIC, etc), technologies (BIG DATA, NO-SQL, etc), and processes (ITIL, DevOps, Agile) and adopt them in the working environment to increase the efficiency and effectiveness

- Highly refined professional verbal and written communications with ability to communicate strategic business values to business / technology partners

- Ability to operate collaboratively as a team as well as independently with new and unique ideas

- Evidence of being able to work in a dynamic and stressful environment

- ITIL Qualified & proficient in using Service Now, Tableau
