About the opportunity

About you Key Responsibilities

Design and deliver innovative solutions for the voice and collaboration product portfolio
Ensure a smooth service transaction from project delivery (Day1) to operations (Day2) via proper documentation, knowledge transferring and service readiness assessments
Contribute to strategic direction of technologies and roadmaps from a technical and theoretical perspective
Effectively manage end-to-end technical project delivery via project management life cycle
Provide ITIL based Incident/Change/Problem management in a global operational environment
Able to resolve complicated technical issues with effective engagement with vendors
Ensure customer satisfaction, operational KPI and delivery of high quality of the service
Taking technical escalation from junior team members and provide trainings to other colleagues as required
Work with suppliers and vendors for technical escalation and regular service maintenance renewal
Work with incident managers, project managers and senior stakeholders to deliver services and projects
Able to work over the weekend based on business requirements

Experience and Qualifications Required

Degree holder in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or related disciplines
Subject matter expertise in Unified Communication (UC) technology
Hands on experience of managing voice and collaboration products including but not limited to -Avaya Communication Manager, Media Gateway, Session Manager, System Manager, IP end points and Equinox

-Polycom video conferencing

-IP Trade

-Skype for Business, TEAMS

-NICE and Avaya ACR recording

Hands on managing voice protocols and technologies eg SIP, H323, ISDN, T1/E1, IP Trunks
Hands on experience of managing Network, Firewall and security products including but not limited -Cisco Routing & Switching products and Nexus Data Centre Networking products

-Network protocols and technologies eg OSPF, BGP, STP, 8021q, PIM, HSRP/VRRP

-F5 server load balancing and security technology (GTM/LTM/ASM/AFM)

-Wireless

Excellent understanding of voice architecture, design and support
Excellent business scenes for a technical support environment
Good analytical skill and able to solve complicated problem logically
Good command of spoken and written English
Good interpersonal skills, communication skills, project management skills and vendor management skills
Must be flexible in approach to work content and responsibilities
Able to work under pressure within a busy environment and effectively multi-tasking
Must be a self-starter and able to work with a minimum of supervision

Experience and Qualifications Desired

Subject matter expertise in Contact Centre (CC) technology
Experience of voice collaboration integration across different vendors and technologies
Understanding of cloud based UC and CC solution and proven related project experience with major cloud vendors
Experience of managing Palo Alto firewall, Blue Coat Proxy, VPN, IPS
Cisco ACI and SDN solution
Experience working in a DevOps role and familiar with SDN, NFV, Cloud and Cloud Management Platforms, and demonstrable experience in integrating technologies through code and the use of APIs
Knowledge of DNS & DHCP (IPAM)
Experience of UNIX / Linux and scripting (Python/Ansible/Perl/Shell)
Multinational company working experience
