Senior Manager - Business Excellence - Leather Products

- This position is responsible to drive business excellence and quality management through process designing, implementation through awareness and training, measurement and improvement of processes

- The position facilitates the application of best practices and provides support in strategy planning and deployment, customer satisfaction survey, customer and market insight studies and related inputs to the business Will be the point person for TBEM in the business

Key Responsibility

- Implementing the business excellence (TBEM) framework in business

- Improving process performance thereby delivering business results for the organization by strengthening quality management systems through various quality tools; Should liaison with the process heads to identify opportunity areas & prepare and implement improvement roadmap

- Ensuring continuous improvement and participative culture within the organization, eg Quality Circle, Kaizen, 5S-

- Supporting improvement projects identified in the various functions till successful closure

- Ensuring smooth implementation of practices for internal & external audits

- Ensuring best practices are continuously adopted within the business to drive improved efficiency and effectiveness; be innovative and come with reengineering & transformation opportunities

- Facilitating conduct and analysis of customer feedback and corrective & preventive actions, leading to improved customer satisfaction and repeat business

- Conduct training on quality awareness, improvement tools and train and certify internal auditors to ISO 9001

- Support vendor development program

Educational Qualification

- Graduate (Preferably Engineering)

- An MBA qualification will be preferred

Must Have Skills

- Proficient at use of quality management tools

- Ability to do statistical analysis

- Process orientation

- Business orientation

- Stakeholder management/interpersonal skills

- Proficient with IT tools

- Well networked within the industry
