Systems Analyst IV - ( ATE00059S )

Description

The systems analyst must be able to work in a team-oriented environment responsible for the planning, implementation, management, and support of complex systems across multiple disciplines

Must possess server administration skills to maintain Microsoft Active Directory, System Center, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, and Azure SaaS/IaaS

Install, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux physical and virtual servers in a geographically-dispersed enterprise environment

Manage day-to-day operations within a VMware server, desktop, and network virtualization infrastructure

Working knowledge of Storage Area Network (SAN) technologies

Analyze complex problems and develop solutions in a highly dynamic environment

Manage disk and cloud-based backup systems to meet Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

Possess general understanding of WAN/LAN protocols, routing, subnetting, firewalls, and application delivery controllers

Assess, evaluate, and recommend new hardware and/or leading technology

Must be able to work with limited supervision to perform all required tasks in a competent and efficient manner

Demonstrated ability to work well with people, mentor junior staff, perform under stress, and follow complex plans and work instruction

Qualifications

BS degree from an accredited college or university in CS, MIS, or related field and five (5) years to eight (8) years of progressive, relevant in-depth experience, or an MS degree in a related technology field and four (4) to six (6) years of progressive experience, or equivalent experience and training in the information technology field with ten (10) to (15) years of progressive, relevant in-depth experience Four years progressive experience with VMware Enterprise level systems required Six years progressive experience with MS Windows Server 2008 and beyond required, Microsoft Certification(s) a plus Experience with tape and/or disk-based backups is required LAN/WAN and Storage Area Network experience a plus ITIL Foundation or higher certification a plus

Physical Requirements

Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time Must be able to attend and relay relevant information during meetings Must be able to travel to remote offices, multiple sites, and other locations as required Must be able to interact effectively within all levels the organization and with customers Occasion lifting of equipment, computers, monitors, printers - up to 25 PERCENT

Work Environment

Primary location will be onsite (Tullahoma, TN) within the information technology department Workload is often driven by user and business requirements, departmental deadlines, often fast-paced with accuracy and quick response times a must Other areas include the entire local facility as needed to assist users

Equipment and Machines

Phones, copiers, computers, computer hardware, network equipment, and other general office equipment

Attendance

Attendance is critical at all times, must be on-time, responsive outside of business hours to ensure response to customer requirements and demands of a large enterprise environment Occasional overtime and weekend work is required to perform maintenance outside regular business hours and/or other business-impacting activities Occasional travel is necessary to support remote sites
