Job Description:

Supply Planner for a large diversified Manufacturing Company

Roles & Responsibilities

- Responsible for Supply planning for Hand Tools and Storage using JDA, global planning system Ensure demand plan is in line with market needs

- Place orders to suppliers, factories and follow up until goods receipt for service parts in the DC

- Track imported goods arrival and related customs processes for Spare parts

- Effectively communicate with services business and ensure new initiatives and products are properly launched within supply plan in order to avoid disruptions

- Follow-up all associated purchases, manufacturing support and lifecycle maintenance for; new product/parts introduction, deletion and replacement parts, demand analysis for Last time buy (LTB) for spare parts

- Perform relevant inventory analysis to support maximum product availability for Services business

- Coordinate rebalancing of stock within our distribution network for spare parts

- Evaluate slow moving materials and excess inventories and implement corrective action plans to achieve inventory goals

- Communicate, publish and report on a weekly basis; out of stock info of active parts and resolution time, market service levels, supplier performance for the Service levels, Back orders, Supplier performance KPIs

- Maintain planning parameters SkU status, safety stock, vendor lead times for spare parts

- Provide information on product availability to customer service and service markets for spare parts

- Responsible for supply of Service Lists, Manuals, Cases, Separators and will plan and control VAS operations if any

- Work closely with Markets, Ensure right forecast and participate in supply reviews during S&OP cycle

Requirements

- University degree preferably Engineering or Equivalent

- 4+ years of relevant experience in Supply Planning/Purchasing in similar Multinational Company

- Experience and knowledge of the Supply Chain Processes, JDA or Equivalent planning systems is a must

- Experience of dealing with vendors on a daily basis and of working in a team

- Strong ability to respond positively under pressure

- A team player with interpersonal and strong communications skills

- Understanding of sales and financial reporting

- Strong PC skills especially SAP/ERP, Excel and Access (MS office)

- SAP MM and SD modules knowledge preferred

- Knowledge of inbound/outbound operations

- Fluency in English

- Analytical, planning and organizational skills with attention to detail

- Self-starter with ability to work independently, prioritizing workloads & multi-tasking

- Demonstrate ability of decision making and problem solving
