Role Overview
This position is for a Seasoned professional contributor in Supply Chain Management May manage small projects for supply chain management Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with major impact on Supply Chain strategies and operational goals Responsible for making moderate improvements to supply chain management processes and systems Works to influence other functions/vendors to support Supply Chain strategy

Primary Responsibilities

Establishment of the transition plan with customer and supplier buy in
Execution of the activities to successfully transfer the work packaged within budget and on schedule
Interface with internal customers to ensure coordination and integration with the applicable program demand schedule and customer requirements
Establishes project reviews (cost, schedule, technical) to identify and mitigate project risks
Develop and manage the inventory transition plan to ensure continued supply of products for customers during the transition
Ensure compliance of technical and regulatory requirements including approvals, certification and qualification of the products in the new location
Ensure demonstrated production capability prior to hand-off to sustaining organizations
Ensure facilities and planned machine transitions are available in time and are compliant to local and UTAS/UTC requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to communicate effectively with cross-functional departments of Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, along with Aerostructures senior leadership and other business units

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

Understanding of aerospace and manufacturing processes
Experience in a cost reduction or supply chain role in the aerospace industry
Knowledge and experience with the Production Readiness Study (PRS) process
Knowledge of export/ITC regulations and policies

Basic Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelors degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required
