The Role Responsibilities

Principal accountabilities will include-

Act as the central point of contact and play an active role in resolving CDD issues relevant to teams activities
Own the development and maintenance of training plans, materials, procedure manuals and other process aids
Conduct new joiner training programs, ensure successful knowledge transfer and achievement of learning curve targets
Impart need based technical refreshers or work with local L&D teams to facilitate training needs analysis for soft skills
Contribute to the development of consistent process and practices via the streamlining initiative leveraging existing group capabilities
Ensure robust and effective governance of tasks and processes with reference to internal policy and external regulation ensuring day to day activities are in full compliance with guidelines
Highlight problems/bottlenecks and take initiative to suggest ideas to change and improve processes
Represent CDD in policy/procedures related forums and take a lead in implementing policy changes
Contribute to ongoing improvement of quality standards by Identifying frequently occurring quality issues (specific instances or process inefficiencies) with trend analysis and recommend appropriate solutions or provide targeted training
Maintain awareness of industry developments including change in regulations or standards
Build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders

Our Ideal Candidate

Knowledge / Skills / Experience Required

Graduation in Commerce, economics, finance or equivalent (E)
In-depth AML knowledge and/or relevant certification (D)
A focused individual who is an excellent communicator with good team skills, who has the ability to influence others by showing initiative and creativity (E)
Understanding of the Financial Services Industry and its various underlying products (D)
Ability to manage pressure situations and maintain high degree of accuracy (E)
Problem Solving Skills ability to think Out of the Box and independently work around issues that arise from time to time (E)
Knowledge of the CDD/eCDD systems and processes and of the different requirements of certain countries desirable (D)
Project Management capability particularly on Migration of Processes from other countries/regions (D)
Fluent English written and verbal communication skills (E)
Proactive approach, with the ability to multi-task (E)
Flexibility in working hours (E)
