The challenge

This highly visible position supports our Digital Experience Enterprise Sales team, which is our fastest-growing and most dynamic business You will focus on both the long- and short-term success of the business advising on strategy and tactics, setting targets, monitoring progress and identifying ways to make the business more successful You will benefit from weekly exposure to Adobe Japan senior leadership, and be a key interface with Corporate leadership This position requires a seasoned professional who is comfortable both in detail-oriented precision and high-level strategic problem solving; someone who embraces deep, complex datasets as a valuable resource, and who is able to leverage those datasets to identify and effectively communicate actionable insight This individual will be self-driven and will enjoy an environment that is subject to rapid change

What youll do

Partner with the sales team and sales operations team to develop our Strategy, Annual Plan, Quarterly Forecast and Weekly Outlook
Lead the weekly Outlook reviews with the sales team, ensuring a deep knowledge of the status and likely direction of the key Enterprise deals in each quarter
Provide regular, actionable insight to the sales team, identifying areas of strength and weakness and proposing strategic changes where relevant
Partner with the wider Adobe Japan leadership team in preparation for business reviews with Corporate
Manage and report on the Enterprise sales teams operating expense performance
Work smoothly across different teams and different geos (FP&A, Deal Desk, Order Management, Credit Control, Legal, Purchasing, BU, to name a few) to source information and solve problems

What you need to succeed

Well-developed analytical and strategic thinking skills with a bias toward independently crafting order and innovative solutions out of ambiguity
A team player who can work closely with peers across Sales, FP&A, Finance Systems, Marketing, Accounting, Legal, and IT
Commercially-focused and possesses strong business partnership skills with the ability to challenge and have the hard conversation
Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience in efficiently designing and maintaining complex models, is mandatory
Experience of developing dashboards on Power BI and/or Tableau would be beneficial
Solid knowledge of financial fundamentals and financial systems / processes
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to summarize and convey key information in an effective manner from executive level to individual sales level
Must be able to communicate effectively in both Japanese and English, either Native Japanese with business-level English (both written and verbal); or
Native English with business-level Japanese (at least verbal)

Finance or Accounting qualification (degree and/or professional) preferred
5 years of FP&A (or related) experience required, preferably with a US-based company
Experience in the IT industry required, Enterprise Software Sales preferred
Experience of Anaplan and TM1 would be an advantage
