The London Corporate Accounting team are an integral part of Global Corporate Accounting with the team based in what is the brand-new European Head Office The team are responsible for the accurate and timely production of Management Accounts for legacy NEX EMEA and APAC businesses within the CME Group The role sits within this team, and will be multi faceted, covering not only a range of stand-alone BAU activities within Corporate Accounting, but also providing support to others in their own BAU areas

BAU activities will include;
Balance Sheet Reconciliations
Journal preparation and documentation
Running system processes that support accounting
Assisting the Fixed Asset accountant in his role, including Project WIP and Fixed Asset reporting and system management and cleansing
Assisting in production of Reporting Packs for FP&A / BPs
Fulfil any additional / ad hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business

Due to the acquisition of NEX Group by CME, the role will offer individuals significant exposure and insight into Change Management Programs and Integration activitiesThese activities will take place across all Finance Workstreams, requiring significant support to be given to other team members to aid in this transition This includes a migration of ERP, set to take place for Legacy NEX entities over the course of 2019

All roles within Corporate Accounting require working closely with other finance departments so you will need to demonstrate ability to communicate effectively to successfully;
Actively participate in weekly status meetings addressing any current issues
Help drive future efficiencies & effectiveness by actively participating in Team meetings with an aim towards unified goal of reducing close cycle times & improving quality assurance
Provide support to the wider Corporate Accounting team where required

Oracle experience extremely advantageous
Experience of working on ERP migration advantageous
Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and advanced Excel
