Role SummaryThe Region Field Service leader has the overall responsibility of all Field service teams and activities in the Region And will ensure that the team is having maximum coverage,best response time, professional handling of all Field Service related areas (competencies, planning, dispatching, tools management, immigration, T&L allowances), while keeping costs low He/She will define and implement the resource/competencies strategy to better serve the business needs
Essential ResponsibilitiesThe position will have following main responsibilities -

Directly manage FS population
S&OP, load forecast
Planning & dispatching receive WO from SER Unit or PRO PL and allocate resource (with obligation)
Interface with SER Units & PRO PL Project Coordinators
Request contractor when needed
Manage tools located in the Region (warehousing, maintenance, calibration,)
Tools scheduling
Tools renting when needed
Work VISA
Tools temporary importation & logistics
Training, competencies management
Hiring
Cost structure, competitiveness
Perform Site Works according to Method Statements, planning, EHS requirements, report NCP,
ServiceMax ownership & Champions

Responsible for field resource deployment planning and execution to meet customer and business metrics Interface with the customer service managers on issues escalation Develop long range forecast for region resource needs Develop and execute short and long-range resource plans based on resource forecasts and region business commitments including recruitment, skills reviews, and resource development through advance level training Participates in discussions about the future of the business requiring frequent and thorough interaction with other functions Develops the year plan for the own function the basis of the framework of the strategic plan for the whole unit Presents projects plans, technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations to business leaders within technical space and occasionally to senior leaders in partner technical teams Important business unit clients Complex processes requiring involvement of many stakeholders both at the client side
Set the best Field Service organization in the Region
Lead Field Services teams in the Region, enforce and promote the Field Service spirit provide for all requests the right resource at the right time
Collect and consolidate business forecasts from the different Product Lines to build a mid/long term resource needs Define the long-term resource and competency development plan
Implement the resource plan training plans, on-job trainings, coach certifications
Ensure professional management of resources, competencies, and tools
Ensure professional and compliant management of immigration topics
Ensure that ServiceMax is consistently and properly used across all Field Service organization
Accountable for key KPIs of the Field Service organization like 100 PERCENT request kept, time to dispatch, On-Time execution of Site works
Interact with all the stakeholders in the Region, ensure good cooperation and interface with Product Lines Arbitrate resource allocation in the Region when required, in agreement with PLs
Qualifications/RequirementsThis is a new position in Service business to lead the multi-product/system field team for E&C and M&R services, O&M services and RME site services
All resources, and logistics required to perform services and maintenance activities on customers site/property These activities contribute to, maintain, repair and refurbish sold or existing products Includes all types of maintenance service (preventive and remedial), manage maintenance facilities and field services engineering
He/She will be fully accountable for providing the right resource at the right time for all jobs

Bachelors degree (preferably in Electrical Engg) from an accredited university or college
Overall 15 years of work experience with minimum of 5 years of experience in Resource Management

Engineering Degree or equivalent with > 7 years of relevant experience
Extensive experience in Field Services, Erection & Commissioning
Business understanding (market knowledge in area of work, intl exposure & awareness)
General knowledge of Transmission and Distribution
In depth knowledge of the HV products and technologies used
Good knowledge of HV products manufacturing, assembly and testing processes and tools
Strong ability to drive change
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Ability to influence others and lead small teams
Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously
Effective problem identification and solution skills
Proven analytical and organizational ability
