At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology We are looking for a Sr Principal Software Engineer with expertise in computational lithography, electro magmatism and optics Candidate must have strong software development skills and many years of software development experience in C working on large software projects Knowledge of STL libraries and object oriented design concepts is necessary The ability to develop high quality, extendable and reusable software is required Strong quantitative skills, degree or course work in mathematics is desired Previous experience in lithography simulation and RET/OPC is a plus Candidate will work in a technical group with many opportunities to learn and grow his/her expertise

Requirements

1 Strong quantitative skills PhD in computational EE/CS or applied math with professional experience in computational lithography, OPC, RET, optics and electromagnetism

2 Strong programming skills in C Experience in large scale software development

3 Ability to provide technical leadership for other team members
