Chennai SrManager - Service Management Experience 8 to 12 yrs Skills Required Job Summary 4D Job Description (Deliverables, Decision level, Demonstrate & Dimensions) Job Title Sr Manager Service Management Job Level EM-6/EM-7 (SM/ AGM) Function Information Technology (IT) Location Equitas HO, Chennai Reporting to VP Technology Date 12-Oct-2016 Deliverables (5-6 Key Responsibilities) Lights-on management of Banking Channels ecosystem CRM, Online, Mobile Apps, USSD/ SMS apps, ESB, ATM, PoS, CCT, Kiosk Accountable for uptime & service levels adherence as defined by Equitas to engage with partner ecosystem for the same, as required Partner with internal stakeholders (eg infrastructure, security, other applications like CBS, legal & other statutory teams, etc) for day-to-day operations and supporting compliances Engage with business stakeholders towards escalations, and define priorities towards outage/ defect resolutions Define & adhere to standards compliant service management processes (eg ITIL) Decision level (Pertaining To Aforesaid Deliverables) Prime Final Decision Making authority, accountable to the Management Shared Decisions reached jointly along with cross functional team Contributory Makes a major contribution to a decision or policy judgment reached by others Demonstrate (Key Competencies) Knowledge and hands-on experience of service management processes and tools/ technologies Handling challenges of complex business/ technology environment Self-motivated and flexible around time and volume of work Ability to continuously identify areas of automation, and implement the same to continuously enhance operational efficiencies Possess leadership & influencing skills Ability to build and nurture professional relationships with peer group, leaders, and partners Education Level Must have Degree in Engineering/ Computer Science Preferable ITSM Certification one of ITIL, COBIT, ISO/IEC 20000, TMF Working Experience Must have 8-12 years of experience in ITSM (IT/ ITES/ Banking/ Telecom/ Retail/ Ecommerce/ FMCG) Strong analytical skills Excellent skills in documentation and presentation Effective verbal, and written Communication skills (in English) Dimensions Impact on end customers/ consumers Service availability as per Equitas defined standards Impact on Revenue (top line) Through service availability and reliability Impact on Costs (bottom line) Continuously improving operations, and continuously enhancing efficiencies Geographical coverage Initially pan-India for core banking services, gradually integrating with global banks and payment networks Type of stakeholders Mainly Internal Mainly External Fair mix of internal & external Number of subordinates 2-4 Partner interlocks Major IT product & service providers like Oracle & Wipro, as well as open source product providers
