As Senior Electronics Engineer you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of products in the Biomedical, Industrial and Consumer arenas This position plays a pivotal role as a part of a passionate and highly motivated team to bring to life game-changing and complex products for our clients Our clients are leaders in the field, including Start-ups and Fortune 500 companies

This position presents the exciting opportunity to be part of a growing development team where you will be a key contributor to the full development cycle of our clients products Your involvement will include

risk management

budget and schedule planning and execution

determining and designing to achieve product performance specifications

collaborating and developing in a multi-disciplinary environment to achieve project goals

working with test and manufacturing teams to generate world class products

providing technical and commercial input to key project decisions


Typical responsibilities of the position include

Hands-on New Product Development with a strong customer and quality focus identifying and meeting both internal and external needs
Requirements gathering and analysis
Architectural design of electrical and electronic systems
Detailed analog and digital electronics design
Prototyping and assembly
Test and verification activities
Mentoring and leading teams

Education BS in Electronic Engineering or equivalent discipline


Required Skills & Competencies

6 years experience in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
Demonstrated team leadership and collaboration skills
Solid understanding of electronics product development processes and tools
Microcontroller subsystem design and implementation
Excellent problem-solving ability
Concise verbal, documentation and communications skills
A positive energetic and self-motivated character
Mind set and knowledge of the fundamentals of good design practice

It is expected that applicants will have an eye for detail, with the ability to construct and manage plans to meet overall project goals while recognizing and encouraging the steps that enable project success at all levels

Desired Skills/Experience

Effective collaboration with remote teams
Product EMC design methodologies - control and mitigation
Localized power supply design and power distribution strategies
Motion control design and integration
Power drivers or amplifiers
Signal integrity and cross-talk analysis
PCB/PWB design (Experience with Altium will be highly regarded)
Analogue sensor selection, conditioning and integration
Subsystem design for manufacture and interconnectivity
Experience in the development of electro-optic systems
Biomedical industry experience

Travel Requirements (up to 10 PERCENT -15 PERCENT )

Domestic frequent
International up to 3 times per year
