Job Description:

Business Analysis and Reporting

Metric development, analysis and reporting

Provide strategic oversight and coordination of GPM metrics and reporting, including business updates, dashboards and SharePoint sites
Compile and conduct moderate to complex analysis of operations metrics and derive high-level reports
Ensure consistency among reports and planning documents
Act as point person to gather data and update materials Automate and streamline reporting process as possible and appropriate
Review previous reports, highlight anomalies and trends and advise management of more efficient administration methods and procedures

Additional Reports

Develop and maintain quarterly deliverables
Program complex employee database to cross-reference staff data Regularly monitor changes and generate routine reports
Conduct competitive positioning research, including technical and content development of surveys and their implementation, and provide briefings on findings

Department Subject Matter Expert (SME) for new technical initiatives

Assume the role of technical expert responsible for spearheading new department initiatives and guiding and training product managers after implementation Stay up to date on technical solutions and provide suggestions

Project Organization and Execution

Business Strategic Initiatives

Manage divisions strategic business planning efforts and lead projects to ensure the business goals and priorities of the business unit are met
Work with management to create annual strategic initiatives
Prepare semi-annual updates and other documents to meet corporate and division planning requirements
Manage project plans to implement initiatives (strategic as well as ad hoc)

Manage Departmental Communications

Develop quarterly update presentations and executive summaries of performance and portfolio management activities to communicate results to Distribution teams
Aggregate and edit brief descriptions summarizing various reports for senior members of Global Product Strategy (GPS)
Orchestrate site-specific activities and coordinate local facilitators (ie, site-wide moves, global meetings), ensuring clear and timely communication
Manage relationships and coordinate work between different teams at different locations

Executive Administrative Support to Department Heads

Act as eyes and ears on behalf of department head, ensure key messages get prominence and, with discretion and as appropriate, act as subject matter expert with regard to cross-departmental information
Facilitate meetings, onsite and via conference calls as required
Coordinate attendees, speakers and activities, Collect and edit supporting presentations, ensure flawless technical setup and support (projector, conference equipment), document and follow up on action items
Perform any administrative tasks that enable the Department Head to focus at strategic level, such as independent follow-up on various directives, coordinating travel, managing schedule, responding to inquiries

What ideal qualifications, skills and experience would help someone to be successful

Associate or Bachelors Degree
5 years project and/or business administration experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Project coordination, organization, and execution experience
Advanced Microsoft Office skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint; MS Outlook
Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with company management and outside business associates
Exercises discretion, deductive reasoning, anticipation of expectations, sense of urgency; diplomacy
Ability to interact with senior management and external clients or vendors on a regular basis
Excellent organizational skills
Strong attention to details
Ability to organize and prioritize workflow
Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced team environment
