Finance, Region ASP, India, Reporting & Compliance

This role is responsible for Financial controlling and reporting and compliance aspects for India Region and reporting to General Manager - Finance

Responsibilities

Secure compliant, transparent, accurate and on time financial reporting to group, related India entities and adhering to Vestas GAAP, Local GAAP (IND AS) and IFRS
Liaise with Vestas Group reporting and local authorities and auditors to secure, timely and quality reporting of financials
Responsible for Indian statutory account closing process and related IND AS accounting standards
Specialize in the financial process and close co-ordination with financial shared service center in Manila to execute the day to day and month end related accounting, financial and reporting tasks
Ensure the internal control documentation for India Region and assist in developing financial systems and controls and responsible for compliance audits
Process owner for maintenance of books of accounts and responsible for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Fixed Assets and Inter Company accounting process
One-point contact for Group, Statutory, Internal, cost audit etc, and ensuing audits are completed on time and without any major observation by audit teams Necessary co-ordination needed with all support functions
Close co-ordination with respective business controllers / support functions to close the month end, audits etc, and regular follow-up with controllers month end closing issues
Supporting to tax team for Direct and Indirect tax assessments, by providing necessary extracts from SAP
Provide inputs to the management for Budget for various activities such as Fixed Capacity costs, Capital Expenditures, and they are monitored for actual and reported to the management for any deviations
Familarize the various company policies such as Procurement, Travel, Imprest, P&C and guide the organization for any changes and report for any deviations
Provide necessary inputs for filing the export based incentives (MEIS / SEIS / DBK) and ensure they are recorded in books properly
Periodically monitor and report CSR spends
Monitor the customs duty payment and ensure they are properly recorded in books
Monitor the litigation cases along with inputs from legal department and document the provision conclusion and ensure they are properly accounted / reported
On need basis from necessary process flows example P&C related accounting process, Site imprest related accounting process, WHT related accounting process and ensure they are properly implemented
Ensure the traffic light with respect to reporting is Green
Ensure the corporate current and deferred taxes are computed and reconciled

Qualifications

Preferred Chartered / Cost accountant / Master degree in finance and accounting
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience with finance, audit, tax and compliance etc,
Expert in SAP / SAP BI and SAP BPC etc,
Advanced excel/ power point skills and experience of working in macros is added advantage
Fluency in English and good communication skill

Competencies

Complying to both Vestas GAAP, Local GAAP, IFRS and IND AS requires strong ability to understand complex and diverse accounting standards and tax rules
Must be organized, self-motivated, and able to work on several projects simultaneously
Commitment to honesty, confidentiality and integrity
In-depth knowledge on inventory controlling and valuation
Basic knowledge on insurance, customs duty, Legal process and various tax laws
Capacity to handle pressure, able to push boundaries under challenging conditions
