DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES To abide by the Mission Statement of the Hotel and the department To provide the guests with high quality of service at every stage of their spa experience To greet the guests at reception, performing treatments & assisting with post treatment sales & reboding To advise the guest of the sequence of the treatment by explaining the treatment & procedures To check whether guest has any allergies or injuries prior to the treatment or previous medical history which prevent him from undergoing the spa treatment To assist the guests in selecting their treatment & explain the treatment procedures especially if the guest has not had a spa treatment before & check for any contraindications To ensure proficiency of all treatments offered at the Spa & have a good working knowledge of all spa facilities To have a thorough knowledge of all skin care, body & spa products being used at the Wellness Centre & be able to use & prescribe products appropriately To ensure that hygiene standards are adhered to at all times & disinfecting the treatment surfaces & equipments between treatments as per laid down standards/procedures To ensure personal hygiene To ensure that the Wellness Centre is neat, clean & tidy at all times & help in retaining the aesthetic beauty of the same To adhere to the laid down grooming standards & be clean shaven at all times & be in neat & clean uniforms To co-ordinate with the Receptionist regarding the daily appointments by allocating the time accordingly To record all guests & treatment details for the data base To brief the Wellness Centre Manager or any feedback received & any follow-up on work to be carried out by the Maintenance & Engineering Department To conduct all treatments professionally Therapists are not to compromise either themselves or the Wellness Centre by permitting any guest to act improperly In such cases, the therapists should politely excuse from the treatment & report to the Wellness Centre Manager To update ones kills by participating in the training as may be imparted from time to time To carry out any other duties as may be assigned by persons placed in authority above you The above job description is subject to change based on business demands at the sole discretion of the Management Adherence to the guidelines mentioned in the TPAM and TCOC and thorough adherence to the IT etiquettes is to be followed To always adhere to personal grooming as per the standards laid down by the hotel and maintain high standards of grooming In addition to the above functions, any other assignment / job given by the superior authority occasionally or on a daily basis are to be performed *******************
