The Software Support Specialist is a Subject Matter Expert responsible for supporting the end to end BSS product

What will your job look like

The position of S/W Support Specialist reports directly to COM or above in Region and assists in the day-to-day operations of C1 Converged Billing Systems Solutions to customers

Responsibilities fall into the following categories Subject Matter Expert in C1 Product Configuration (PCAT) module
Good Knowledge in C1 Converged Platform
Understanding of BSS architecture and Rating/Billing flows

Configuring Marketing products and meeting business needs
Troubleshooting and fixing rating, charging and bill cycle issues
Design & solutioning for complex BSS Product configuration requirements
Automations & Development Prepare scripts to automate Product Configuration
Technically strong in Unix Shell Scripting and Oracle SQL scripting

Conduct requirements gathering and analysis for required modules and prepare related documentations
Design limited complexity module improvements with supervision
Testing Conduct thorough unit testing on own configurations
Conduct thorough unit testing on others configurations of some complexity
Conduct full investigation on system anomalies
Document all unit test cases, expected results and observed results
Follow defect management process in identifying, investigating, and resolving defects
Support integration testing

All you need is

4-6 years of relevant experience in Implementation/Manage services of BSS product
Customer facing experience
Willingness to work off business hours for critical issues
Work on complex tasks and perform multi-tasking
Willing to travel based on project requirements
Mandatory Skills - BSS, C1, Comverse ONE, Kenan, product configuration, PCAT
