Maintains ownership for the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, locating bugs, tool and script development for problem diagnosis, troubleshooting and reproduction

What will your job look like

Maintains ownership for the resolution of complex technical problems, including debugging, simulations, locating bugs, tool and script development, troubleshooting and reproduction
Take part in all planned production activities like outages, releases etc
Ready to work in US Shift and over weekend support model
Should be confident to work directly and independent with Site and business
Able to Investigate, debug and reproduce issues, provide fixes and workarounds, and verify changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution
Able to analyze production issues from the business and application/code perspective and outlines corrective actions
Willing to take ownership and accountability of specific Product market within an application and provide technical support and guidance in problem resolution for complex issues
Focused on continuous process improvements/efficiencies to software or business processes by utilizing various innovations and techniques and the reuse of existing solutions
Contribute in meeting various SLAs and KPIs to ensure assigned tasks are completed on time and the delivery timelines meet the quality targets of the organization

All you need is

Bachelors degree in Science/IT/Computers or equivalent
2-35 years experience as a Software Support Engineer
Must have SQL developer experience
Must have good knowledge of SQL Server & T-SQL
Hands-on experience of on JIRA will be an advantage
Experience on supporting any telecom will be an added advantage
Able to handle any technical crisis / Bridges / Customer call
Able to work as an individual contributor effectively while collaboratively with all lateral teams
Self-motivated, Self-learner takes initiative, a team player, while being organized and responsible
Excellent communication skills, Analytical Ability, Learning Ability and strong attention to detail
Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to adhere to policies and procedures while using sound judgment to solve problems
Should display a positive attitude and strong work ethic at all time
