About the Role and Project

As an application developer in Asset Management Technology, based in Mumbai, to be part of a dynamic, high-performing team, working on a multi-year program to develop a Global Cash Management platform using Cloud technology stack The team follows the Agile (Scrum) process and development is based on BDD principles Candidates should be self-driven/motivated/passionate about technology, possess strong inter-personal skills, as well as proven track record of delivering high-quality technical product, under demanding circumstances

Responsibilities

The day-to-day activities of the role will encompass the full project lifecycle, including

Design, implement, test and maintain major server-side components and UI of the products
Adhere to coding standards, procedures and techniques while contributing to the technical code documentation
Implement back-end components of an n-tier application, including data model, data access objects, and application logic
Research and prototype new technologies as appropriate
Define new product features in conjunction with product management, and provide specifications
Ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit testing, documentation and maintenance as appropriate

Essential

7 years of hands-on software development experience

Java development experience preferably using the IntelliJ IDE / Eclipse IDE

Experience using Tomcat, WebSphere or a similar Enterprise Application Server

Knowledge of the Spring Framework 40 and above

Knowledge of the REST & SOAP Web Services

Knowledge of Hibernate as ORM

Understanding of XML based messages and schema

RDBMS experience develop complex SQL queries

Java Messaging Service (JMS)

Good understanding of Java concurrency

Experience with Maven 3x

Skills for technical analysis & design of business solutions

Desirable (but not essential)

Knowledge of the Spring Boot Framework 15 and above

Cloud development experience with Cloud Foundary / AWS Cloud or other cloud platforms

Angular / React UI experience

Mule ESB

Experience with Sybase

JPA, REST/SOAP Web Services, JSON, GIT/Stash

Experience in Agile Scrum Methodology for Software development

Experience in TDD/BDD practices (The application uses Cucumber, but even exposure to tools like FitNesse/Concordion would help)
