Job Description:

a) Should possess excellent programming skills in Core JAVA, JAVA J2EE, JBOSS Server environment with experience of minimum 2+ years

b) Should be experienced in taking requirement and execution (developing) as per the shared business logic

c) Knowledge of following technologies (Preferable)

HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript

Web service development [REST & SOAP] & deployment

AJAX technology

Hibernate

JSF

Struts

c) Should be able to effectively debug programs, identify bug fixes / performance bottlenecks and improvements

d) Should be able to prepare detailed technical/design document as per template provided by BPCL

e) Should have worked in medium and large scale projects

f) Experience in MIS/Reporting Management/Development will be an additional advantages

g) Must be proficient in code review & debugging

Roles & Responsibilities -

a) Development requirement would vary during different phases; hence exact requirement would vary from time to time The Developer will understand the functional requirements and undertake application development as per specifications given by project leader They will adhere to standards laid down by for development, documentation, testing etc

b) The developer will carry out coding in the platform identified and carry out unit testing, interact with team members for implementing and rolling out the solution

c) The developer should transfer knowledge to in-house Development team /successful bidder along with proper documentation

d) The developer should create and maintain proper technical documentation of all development activities

e) The developer should be responsible for new development & maintenance of Java-based - web applications & mobile responsive applications

f) The developer should be responsible for new development & maintenance of REST/SOAP based Web Services/API

g) The developer should be responsible for implementation/adherence to latest security recommendations
