The SMB Applications Sales Rep will be selling applications into small-to-midsized Pharmaceutical, Biotech and Medical Device Regulatory teams Responsible for Oracles E-Clinical Platform software solutions including Oracle Clinical One, Siebel CTMS, Clinical Development Analytics, Argus Pharmacovigilence & Safety, Empirica Signal, ClearTrial and InForm EDC

Experience

1-5 years in sales with Software Applications and/or Medical or Healthcare-related products or services
Targeting SMB in the Bay Area
Consistently exceeding quota

Primary job duty is to sell clinical R&D cloud software and related services to SMB prospective and existing customers Manage sales through forecasting, account resource allocation, account strategy, and planning Develop solution proposals encompassing all aspects of the application Participate in the development, presentation and sales of a value proposition Negotiate pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale Identify and develop strategic alignment with key third party influencers Must be able to use MS Office products Excel, Word, PPT

Ability to penetrate accounts, meet with stakeholders within accounts Interaction with C level players Team player with strong interpersonal /communication skills Excellent communication/negotiating/closing skills with prospects/customers Travel may be needed Bachelor degree or higher

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Sells a subset of product or services directly or via partners to a large number of named accounts/non-named accounts/geographical territory (mainly Tier 3 accounts)

Duties and tasks are standard with some variation Completes own role largely independently within defined policies and procedures 3 or more years of sales experience with focus on large strategic accounts including applications sales experience Successful sales track record Oracle knowledge and/or knowledge of Oracles competitors Interaction with C level players Team player Ability to penetrate accounts and meet with Bachelor degree or equivalent
