Role Overview

The Site Reliability Engineer - Lead must monitor production applications, troubleshoot, debug, and escalate issues with proper analysis to concerned teams to ensure maximum availability Provide detail summary of all high priority issues to stakeholders ensuring quality in data provided Need to Track/Escalate all critical production issues through tracking applications Create accurate root cause of Production issues and help to provide long term solutions to fix them Triage, catalogue and quantify issues Setup and work with teams to setup proactive monitoring and telemetry Lead root cause analysis to create technical RCAs and convert them to business RCAs



About the Role



  • Responsible for proactive monitoring of production environment and respond quickly in response to trends or issues

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and escalate issues with proper analysis to concerned teams to ensure maximum availability Troubleshoot problems in real-time, interacting with customers and internal support representatives to deliver maximum customer satisfaction

  • Provide detail summary of all high priority issues to stakeholders ensuring quality in data provided

  • Track/Escalate all critical production issues through tracking applications

  • Create accurate root cause of Production issues and help to provide long term solutions to fix them

  • Triage, catalogue and quantify issues

  • Setup and work with teams to setup proactive monitoring and telemetry

  • Debug issues to enable faster resolution

  • Ability to work independently on defined tasks and escalate in a timely manner when support/assistance is required

  • Interact with Peer teams in other GEOs and with other teams present locally

  • Responsible for publishing detailed weekly report

  • Candidate will develop/support internal tools

  • Extended work hours to support monitoring and troubleshooting issues

  • Provide 24x7 support for monitoring and troubleshooting issues based on need

  • Lead Root Cause Analysis for issues

  • Convert technical RCAs to Business RCAs


About You



  • Seek your an experience in troubleshooting problems in real-time, interacting with customers and internal support representatives to deliver maximum customer satisfaction

  • We would like to leverage your analytical, debugging, troubleshooting and problem solving skills

  • Role will challenge your testing techniques methodologies

  • 6 to 10 years of experience in web and ecommerce domain

  • Knowledge of ASPNet, C#, SQL, WCF, Web Services, JavaScript, AJAX and JSON

  • Let us challenge your SQL knowledge to write SQL queries and SPs

  • Passion to work with technology, complex systems, and work with demanding customers

  • Show enthusiasm in analyzing issues, understand impact on systems

  • Your proven interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills will enable you to collaborate and be influential within and outside the team

  • Explore your Out of box thinking

  • Showcase your capabilities by developing tools or automation to reduce manual tasks

  • Work with cross-functional teams to improve monitoring and telemetry

  • In-depth working knowledge of debugging ASP, ASP Net, C# applications

  • Knowledge of BigData technologies (Flume, Kafka, Hadoop, Cassandra)

  • Quick learning on software source control systems such as ACCUREV, GIT is preferred
