SFDC Developer

Experience / Previous jobs required for the job

Minimum 4 year in design, coding and testing in Salesforcecom platform
Practical working experience of applying agile development approaches, methods, including release and sprint planning and execution
Excellent coding and testing skills with the code base associated with the application
Willingness to learn and work collaboratively in a high performing and agile based team
Self-organising, achieves tasks without constant monitoring
Manageability; takes direction and provides proactive and constructive support
Strong organisation, multi-tasking and time management skills
Strong communication skills written and oral and the ability to present and advocate ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical)
Excellent team management and stakeholder management skills to deliver solution services in a critical to business operational environment
Experience in Administration, Configuration, Implementation, Lightning, and support experience with Salesforce platform
Experience in Salesforce Customization, Security Access, Workflow Approvals, Data Validation, data utilities, Analytics, sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Support Administration
Expertise in SFDC Development using Lightning Application, Apex Language, Visual Force Pages, Classes, Controllers, Triggers, Indexes, Locks Web Services, Components, Tabs, Apex Web services, Custom Objects, Reports, Analytic Snapshots and Dashboards, Profiles, Creating Roles, Page Layouts, Org Wide default, Sharing rules, Work Flows
Worked on Lightning Process builder flows, Connect API, Chatter and quick Action
Integration Methodologies, different API, Trigger framework, Recursive Triggers, VF Remoting, Asynchronous Framework & options
Writing custom Lightning Components in Java Script within the Aura framework

Critical knowledge and education required for the job

Bachelor Degree or equivalent in related field or equivalent experience
Supports the planning of sprints and executes their role in accordance with the agreed sprint plans
Supports operational colleagues in resolving complex in-life software issues
Supports the creation of detailed designs and technical specifications
Finds opportunities to re-use existing components and actively reduces complexity and customization in the technology landscape
Where required will work with other colleagues across platforms to assure integrated solutions
Applies code control and testing standards in accordance with Syngenta / industry standards
Works with end user community to deliver user experience and user acceptance testing on a continuous basis
Ensures that they are up to date with industry knowledge and relevant technology trends
Scope of activities to include; Detailed Design
Coding and Testing
Peer Review / Pair Programming
Incident Resolution support
Root Cause Investigation & Remediation

Support the adoption of agile ways of working and working in a multi-supplier framework
Apply and coach other team members in the application of sprint planning, continuous testing and integration and user oriented showcasing
Use and encourage adoption of Syngenta supported agile tools

Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related field; equivalent work experience may be considered
Good technical knowledge of the technologies for which they undertake coding and testing
Demonstrable directly-related experience of software development in a commercial environment
Strong planning and solution delivery skills to enable sound scoping and sprint planning skills
Detailed understanding of the technical architecture and software components that make up the applications under their control
Strong coding and testing skills
