Service Provider, Account Executive- Tokyo Sales Tokyo, Japan Service Provider Account Manager is responsible for selling A10 Networks (A10) ADC, CGN and TPS products and technology as well as full suite of support and professional services to a handpicked set of accounts, which are viewed as strategic from a size, growth, competitive, or visibility perspective The candidate is required to have experience selling above products and services toCarrier and ISPorganizations This role manages some of the largest companies and the ability to operate at both executive and operational level will be crucial The ability to articulate the business value of A10s solutions to stakeholders is a key requirement Responsibilities include structured account planning, mapping, and establishing strong business relationships with key stakeholders in the organization, advanced solution selling, conducting sales presentations, coordinating multiple resources within an account, and consistently closing business for A10 The successful candidate will be extremely results-oriented, possess strong business acumen, be capable of building a strong business pipeline, accurately forecasting and closing business, and possess strong interpersonal and presentation skills The candidate drives pipeline generation by understanding the business priorities and initiatives of the accounts and by mapping these initiatives toA10solutions Roles and Responsibilities Responsible to cover given territory or industry to focus large scale of business development and pipeline generation Search and gather information of industry trend, interest and potential in specific verticals for successful business planning Territory must be within the Japan Region however will need to take care the global business opportunities which can be led and managed from given region as central control account responsibility Report directly to the Manager of Strategic Sales Team Focus on hunting and developing new A10 accounts from a defined set of companies in the Japanese top 5-10 company space in each industry Strong business acumen to understand the IP networking landscape ,and become the trusted advisor of the CIO/CISO as well as other key influencers within these accounts at multiple levels Ability to articulate the business and commercial value of A10 solutions Technical acumen to include the ability to coordinate and deliver compelling product demonstrations Convert prospects into sales by differentiating from the competition Develop reference customers to drive and derive A10 business in the other space Work with ISR to productively develop pipeline from newly generated sales leads and nurtured leads Work with System Engineers to prepare account strategies and plans Work effectively with A10 business partners Strong operational excellence, to include forecast accuracy, Salesforcecom pipeline development Maintain up-to-date knowledge of A10s competitive positioning in the marketplace Requirements and Qualifications Over 5 years successful field sales experiencein related field in which revenue quotas were met/exceeded Over 3 years of experience selling network and security technology solutions to large accounts Strong technology background, working knowledge of internet protocols, web based visibility, acceleration, security and network infrastructure with the ability to articulate these technologies to customers Self-starter with the ability to work independently or in a team environment Strong solution selling skills, including extensive experience calling on key executives in large accounts Experience with Salesforcecom or similar CRM system Knowledge of TAS/ MH / Holden or MEDDIC Strong Account Planning skills, including aligning customer strategy to a defined A10 strategy within the account Experience of value-based selling, ROI and TCI based proposal creation Experience working for a US based company is preferred BA/BS or higher is preferred Outstanding consultative selling skills and ability to clearly and effectively articulate the companys value proposition Aligns insights to key customer priorities(business applications) and ties those insights back to the suppliers unique technology differentiators Understands how suppliers and competitors offerings are priced and is aware of the customers budget and decision making process Ability to articulate the value of A10 products and services with the ability to overcome pricing objections Recognizes when to walk away from a deal Hunter mentality with ability to develop new accounts and opportunities Focuses on account expansion and revenue generation Strong business acumen with the ability to create a business plan, build a strong business pipeline, accurately forecast and close business Existing relationships with C-level executives and access to key decision makers Fosters strong industry contacts in the prospective customer base Educates customers on industry developments and best practices adopted by peer companies Creates value for the customer and builds strong, sustainable relationships Ensures customer satisfaction throughout relationship and continues looking for opportunities within existing accounts Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to conduct sales presentations and interact effectively with internal and external customers at all levels, including CXOs Experience of direct and indirect mixed business model is a must Must be able to work under pressure with limited resources Highly trained and experienced presentation skill is required Business level or higher skill of English communication is preferred Salesforcecom and MS Office use is required for daily selling updates and reports The rolemayrequire someextended work beyond daily work time
