Job Description:

Service team provides install base customers with support for their Foxboro, Triconex, Scada & M&I products as part of a comprehensive service contract The team provides the engineering expertise for all upgrades at our customer sites and onsite application support/modifications to improve control of the underlying process Service manager directly reports to the Korea Delivery Director and also indirectly to the APAC region Service Director

The Service Manager is responsible for scheduling the service engineers tasks and projects; working closely with the Engineering Manager & Project Managers to ensure projects and service contract deliverables are maintained This position involves a significant amount of customer facing time and will interact with all aspects of the business including sales, proposals, project operations and all levels of Management The service manager have the ownership of run-rate business (Parts, Contracts, On-demand, Training and Repair) & service projects and drive the local service business with service operations and sales The direct reporters are service engineers, service project manager and service administrator

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in technical discipline (Automation, Instrumentation, Electronic, Electrical, Chemical, IT or Mechatronics Engineering) and over 12 years of related experience

Experience in People Management and Resource allocation especially supervising technical personnel in a support environment (ie Service Manager, Project Manager, Service Leader)

Experience with Process Control Automation system (DCS/ESD/PLC) maintenance or project implementation

Good knowledge of DCS/SIS/TMC including HMI and SCADA, plus basic knowledge of Advanced Control, Cyber Security and other Business Solutions

Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Mining, Chemical Industrial Processes and Pulp & Paper preferred

Past experience in project scheduling and project controls is highly advantageous

Able to drive/lead a team and capable of interfacing with a wide range of personalities

Excellent interpersonal leadership skills - the ability to motivate, plan and to maintain the discipline to drive long term success is essential

Service scope definition and execution planning (as basis for identifying changes)

Contract and subcontract administration (concepts and work processes)

Understand the principles of projects risk management and make sound judgement on technical and commercial matters

Excellent Communication skills (oral and written) in English

Performance management and coaching/counselling

Presentation skills / training skills

Develop the potential service opportunities of the installed base with service engineers and Sales

Ensure Service Business Growth with service engineers and Sales
