Job Description:

To be responsible for MTX and Data Center HW installation for IT and VAS systems to provide the required infrastructure for business critical projects Participate in projects related to Data Center and VAS t systems to ensure that business requirements and departmental strategy are well incorporated in systems solutions & plans for smooth delivery and effective time to market

Key accountabilities and decision ownership
Installation and commissioning of systems HW (Storage, Servers) and components upgrades in compliance with vendor installation procedures, Vodafone policies and other requirements
Vendor management including oversight vendors installation engineers and technicians
Conduct site surveys; assesses and documents current site configuration and site- unique requirements for all remote sites (HQ, RMD, BNS, Alex, C5, MNS, TNTA)
Report installation progress to Project manager and Systems planning team leader
Responsible for updating installation and service procedures if needed
Responsible of timely completion and accuracyof installation reports to ensure proper project documentation
Involve in new HW testing and health checks according to vendor testing criteria
Responsible for the completion of systems onsite acceptance with the operations team
Responsible for the dismantle of the HW of the end of life IT and network services
Manage the HW move/relocation logistics to ensure delivery to the MTX and Data Centers

Key performance indicators
Provide off working hours onsite support for all systems located in the MTX and Data Center systems to ensure on time project completion
