The challenges ahead

We are seeking a skilled Senior Technical Customer Support Engineer to join our team in Long Beach, CA In this role, you will be the first contact and voice between our customers and the product team You will solve problems, as well as interact with customers through our ticket system, calls, and web session conference

What will your role be

End to End ownership of customer request from opening until closure ensuring customer satisfaction
Ensure data accuracy (incl urgency, Defect/Non Defect, Priority, description of problem/scenario, use cases, business process impacts, frequency)
Promote R&D Best Practices through interaction with customer/end users
Timely deliver answers /solutions including validating all code corrections against customer scenarios (ie Debug kits/Emergency fixes/Hot fixes/Fix pack)
Make sure our delegated Partners are delivering against their support SLA per Service Request
Participate to customer cadence call, on demand, to convey technical expertise and deliver plans to enhance value & satisfaction
Manage emergency/production down situations for mission critical systems deliver best in class resolution plan and communicate according to Customer (eg onsite intervention, cadenced remote operations, follow the sun operations)

Your Key Success Factors

Bachelor/Master degree of Science in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or technical equivalent
3-5 years of experience in software deployment
Knowledge of SQL with SQL Server and Oracle
Knowledge of C#, XML, HTML, JavaScript
Net Application code reading and profiling
Understanding networking concepts of DNS, TCP, HTTP etc
Fundamental Windows Server administration trouble shooting skills
Positive, self-motivated individual with high level of enthusiasm and willingness to learn and incorporate coaching and instructions into daily tasks and assignments
Highly organized with critical attention to details
Ability and willingness to learn new and advance software functions
Strong functional use of Microsoft Office Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Very strong writing skills utilizing the rules of English grammar, along with clear and concise oral communication skills in English
Knowledge of DELMIA Apriso/FlexNet will be additional asset
