Job Summary

Imagine a world in which Golf Vehicles and Personal Transport Vehicles (PTVs) integrate intelligent mobility and disruptive innovation Over the past decade, wireless technologies, off-board systems and in-vehicle systems have fundamentally advanced to perform limitless functions to deliver connected features helping Golf, PTV, or Utility vehicle operators make informed decisions about their next golf swing, trip through the neighborhood or community pathways while providing infotainment, safety, and enhanced diagnostic information

To that end, Club Car is seeking an energetic and entrepreneurial-minded DevOps engineer to join the team in our Sarasota, Florida office The selected individual will work closely with team members in Sarasota FL, Austin TX, Augusta GA, and India The DevOps engineer will be a key contributor in delivering smart mobility and technology innovation for next generation Club Car vehicles

Core Job Responsibilities (others may be added)

System administration of Windows and Linux on Azure and hosted environments such as Rackspace
Network administration of Windows and Linux (Active Directory, DNS, network load balancers, VPNs, ExpressRoute, etc)
Manage Azure environments using Terraform and DSC
SQL Server administration
Manage disaster recovery plan and normal backup/restore methodologies
Manage infrastructure security
Automation of the continuous integration / continuous deployment process
Software Configuration Management using Git and Subversion
Jira administration and integration
Azure DevOps (VSTS) administration and integration
Deploy and monitor global 24x7 cloud based production environment
Document infrastructure

Minimum Qualifications

Windows and Linux system administration
Network administration
Strong knowledge of firewalls, proxies, load balancing, and DNS
Strong knowledge of cloud services and technologies (ie Microsoft Azure platform)
Strong knowledge of modern configuration management tools for web development and systems integration projects such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar
Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment of projects to cloud and on-premise environments

Preferred Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Git and Subversion version control software
Experience in building and deploying projects to mobile and embedded environments such as Android, iOS, embedded Linux, FreeRTOS, or similar
Experience in performing deployment for NET applications, web services, IIS, and SQL Server using automated release management tool (ie Azure DevOps Release Management / Pipelines)
Experience in building and deploying projects for Matlab/Simulink
Knowledge of build tools such as Webpack, Gulp, MS Build, Gradle, or similar
Experience with container technologies using Docker and Kubernetes
Experience with Azure DevOps (aka VSTS)
Develop C# NET code in support of delivery pipeline
Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix , Kibana, and Grafana

Minimum Qualifications

Requires 5 years of System Administration and DevOps experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or related discipline preferred
