Job Description:

Senior Support Analyst - BackOffice Overview This role will be reporting into Back Office Manager The role will require the candidate to work closely with peers within IT especially with the development team, testing team, the release management team and the business Senior Support Analyst will be responsible for understanding the defects, allocating to different team and tracking them during development life cycle He/She shall maintain the defect tracking tools, maintain relationship across different development team, follow-up with stakeholders/ development team and generate reports for effective understanding of reported defects His/Her goal will be to effectively manage defects for the optimum utilization of available team Position will be based out of Noida and candidate should be flexible to work in UK shift Technical Understanding Minimum of 7 years experience on managing the support role for different offshore teams Minimun of 2 years experience on performing the support lead role PeopleSoft Experience required Must be ITIL certified Proficient in using MS excel, MS Word and Defect Management tool Experience in reporting of support issues with different performance metrics Business experience on ERP applications Informatica, and OBIEE will be preferred Good knowledge of software development life cycle Strong understanding of documentation required for development Manages document quality and content in defect management tool Project Execution Takes input from project team / onsite stakeholder and suggest effective defect management process Consistently delivers defect metrics to all stakeholders for review CORE COMPETENCIES Offshore Defect Management Strong communication and reporting skills Ability to define and implement strong processes Ability to effectively prioritise and problem manage Communicates effectively with different teams Commitment to delivery on time Demonstrated skills in conflict & issue resolution Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving ability and decision-making Ability to work well in a fast-paced, project orientated team environment Excellent time management and organisation skills Excellent team player Continually seeks opportunities to improve the defect resolution cycle Delivers informative, well-organized presentations Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully Exhibit a desire to learn and proactively work with business and other teams Working UK shifts
